Next winter’s collections for men and women explore new fashion horizons, showing, without exceeding, the transgressive side of the brand On May 22nd, in the Salamon Fine Art exhibition hall of the historic Palazzo Cicogna in via San Damiano in Milan, Mjus Shoes and Mjus RBL displayed a preview of the F/W 2018-2019 collections. The brands, born in 2007 from the creative attitude of the Veneto-based shoe factory Olip, also owner of the label A.S. 98, interpret the casual and comfort needs of modern women and men, always on the move. There are three main themes of the new Mjus Shoes feminine mood, inspired by masculine canons softened by the balanced use of glam accessories. As in the ’80, the punk rock world is inhabited by bikers and boots embellished with buckles, studs, rhinestones, animalier details and tartan prints.. The second line winks at both the military and the Baroque style, without falling into excess, thanks to the wise use of crests and buttons, bows and embroidery, bronze and gold inserts. Last but not least, there is the call to craftsmanship through vintage Seventies models with suede, washed and lived-in leather. Black recurs continuously, together with the burgundy, in contrast to the bright colors of the rich sneaker universe that next winter plays a lot on the mix of materials: technical fabrics combined with velvet, tartan, patent leather and embellished with bright details. Mjus RBL man boasts a rebellious, nonconformist soul, and loves to travel: in the city he wears the most formal and elegant models like the Chelsea boot, the moccasin / lace-up, but for leisure he prefers the timeless biker boot, personalized with buckles and fastenings in metal, or the revisited mountain look, where sneaker and boot are inspired by the trekking shoe with thick and colored strings and cleated soles. “The brands Mjus Shoes and Mjus RBL – explains the marketing manager Giulio Nason – were born from the need to support the brand A.S. 98 with a more transversal product line, able to meet the needs of a wider and heterogeneous audience. The less bold and refined design does not give up on certain gritty peaks, while the lower price range does not exclude the use of high quality leather and accessories.” The shoes are matched with a collection bags for him and her: totes, backpacks and small leather goods made with smooth, hammered and suede leathers, developed in warm and natural shades. “As for A.S. 98, the line of bags Mjus was conceived almost as a joke – concludes Giulio Nason – but, thanks to the gathering of ideas of our company’s large style team, it has been able to quickly catch the taste of customers in Europe and worldwide.”. www.mjus-shoes.comMJUSMJUSMJUSMJUS
