Once the travels and social occasions are allowed again, the elegant shoe comes out of the box. The domestic confinement due to the pandemic had strengthened the leadership of the informal and comfortable footwear market, but today the demand for high-heeled shoes is growing again, so as the need for soles and wedges designed for the most glamorous models. That’s why Italsform, back again at Lineapelle with its new collection, focused on leather soles. “After all, leather is incredibly comfortable – says company manager Viviana Pirini – and our items are renowned by the big brands for the creativity, quality and innovation, a tribute to the made-in-Italy label. Alongside the casual sporty soles, always in demand, the trend is towards comfortable products but with more formal and elegant features: the classic, defined plateau and wedges are back in fashion.” Obviously, the attention to green issues is still a focus, even if, according to Mrs. Pirini, “the sustainable proposals, result of many investments in R&D activities, often clash with the aesthetic needs, that natural materials and treatments are not yet able to fully satisfy.”
