Hundreds of contracts were the result of the 6th International Fur, Leather and Light Industry Exhibition "Soft Gold of Russia"
On April 14, the 6th International Fur, Leather and Light Industry Exhibition “Soft Gold of Russia” ended in Pyatigorsk. The general partner of the event was the Development Institute of the North Caucasus “KAVKAZ.RF”.
For four days, April 11-14, 138 manufacturers of fur and leather outerwear, hats, men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, accessories, fabrics, etc. exhibited their goods at the exhibition complex “Narodny”. These were manufacturers from the Stavropol Krai and other regions of Russia, as well as from abroad – Turkey, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and some European countries.
3,631 buyers from all over the country came to the exhibition. Heads of retail companies and stores studied the assortment presented by manufacturers and signed contracts.
The buyers were greeted with gifts and Caucasian hospitality – already at the airport. Then they were taken to hotels. Visitors of the exhibition always highly appreciate our loyalty program for buyers, which includes partial reimbursement of air tickets and transfer around the city. This time it was the same.
On the evening of April 11, all participants and guests were invited to a concert and a celebratory buffet, where they could taste the dishes of Caucasian cuisine.
The organizers do all the best to make exhibitors, buyers, and other participants of the International Light Industry Exhibition “Soft Gold of Russia” feel comfortable and come to Pyatigorsk again and again!
The most impressive part of the exhibition were fashion shows when the designers from Stavropol, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Vladikavkaz, Nalchik, Donetsk and other cities presented their collections.
The exhibition had a great business program – there were discussions and seminars on the situation in the light industry of Russia; on the prospects for the fur industry; on the export and import trade; on the educational centers for the creative industry; etc.
The exhibition was attended by many federal and regional officials, Russian and foreign light industry unions, public organizations, famous designers.
Traditionally, the 4th Folk Art Crafts and Souvenirs Fair “Treasures of the Caucasus” was also held these days, where the guests could look at Caucasian handicrafts made of wood, stone, textiles, ceramics, metal, etc., and buy a souvenir.
International exhibitions in Pyatigorsk, organized by the multifunctional business center (MBC) “Soft Gold”, are the important factor in the development of light industry in Stavropol Krai and the entire South of Russia and a powerful driver for realizing the tourism potential of the North Caucasus.
