AzzurroDigitale workforce management for DiMar

DiMar Group, a historic company specializing in the production of leather goods, has launched a strategic digital transformation process to improve the processes underlying the management of collaborators, working on a more rigorous and automated system for recording and retrieving data previously managed manually. Therefore, the company worked with the innovative hub AzzurroDigitale to launch AWMS (Advanced Workforce Management System), a SaaS platform for the efficient management of the workforce in production and logistics plants, in its factories.

Through the creation of an updated database able to mapping people’s skills, AWMS has allowed the company to manage the increase in workforce that has occurred in recent years, while maintaining a high artisanal know-how standard of the workers, value at the base of production. In an automated way, the database takes into account the specific experiences of each person to meet the daily need to reallocate resources on different lines due to absences or particular production needs (job rotation and multiskill).

Technology has also made it possible to manage the increased demand for dynamism and versatility on the part of the luxury market, characterized by an increasingly fragmented and personalized request: even in a very traditional sector such as that of leather bags, the ability to combine innovation and craftsmanship will increasingly be a guideline for the future.
