Dienpi, the magic of creativity

Dienpi, the company capable of performing true wonders in the field of creativity and production of fashion accessories of the highest level.

San Benedetto del Tronto, a town overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea, is the home of one of the most innovative businesses in the area. Fashion is often considered an art, and Dienpi is undoubtedly one of the innovative companies that has been able to interpret this art with creativity and innovation. Officially founded in 2011, but with a solid 30 years of experience among its partners in the field of fashion accessories, the company targets the national and international fashion market by designing and producing accessories for clothing and footwear. Beginning with graphic design and then moving on to prototypes/samples, the Marche company is able to deliver worldwide. Over the years, the company has developed its structure in different sites, in addition to the main office in San Benedetto del Tronto, which covers an area of about 2,500 square meters and where the modernization of a production area with the latest 4.0 technology has been started in order to offer customers all the production power and creativity available on the market. Dienpi represents excellence in the fashion accessories industry, with a constant focus on product quality, environmental sustainability and technological innovation. The passion and commitment of its founders and employees have enabled the company to establish itself on the national and international market, becoming a reference point in the fashion accessories industry for its workmanship and decoration of fine leathers and materials. The company’s vision is to anticipate the needs of its customers, as Doriana Marini, Dienpi co-founder, explains, by creating unique fashion products, thanks to the extraordinary creative ability that combines the originality of design with the highest level of production technology.
What processes do you offer, and how are you able to create unique niche products?
“At the last edition of Lineapelle, we focused on showing all our processing capabilities on leathers, synthetic leathers and combined fabrics. Among the techniques we used were screen printing and digital printing with registered embossing, yarn and lurex embroidery with rhinestones and beads, laminated printing and high-frequency processing with thermoforming, just to name a few. This year we again chose to focus on combining processing, creating simple designs but paying extreme attention to attention to detail and the precision of registers. Obviously, we specialize in the production of finished products for fine capsule collections or limited editions because all processing is done in-house, including cutting and laminating services. This allows customers to send their hides directly to the company for the creation of semi-finished or finished products such as bags. In addition, last year, we acquired a historic embroidery factory adjacent to our headquarters, thus being able to complete our range of products. Although it requires time and specialized workers, the company is banking on the added value that such special processes have, capable of bringing out niche production.”
I imagine you not only fulfill the requests of designers for their creations, but also offer personalized consultancy to propose new processing ideas, correct?
“Yes. We are engaged in a continuous creative process that leads to the creation of new and innovative ideas every season, and several times during the year. To present these ideas to our customers, we use technical displays that show images of unique processing (such as the combination of embossing, printing, and embroidery), as well as the different printing techniques available, including screen printing, digital printing, and laser printing. These technical combinations greatly inspire customers, as has already happened, through the idea of processing cutting room offcuts as well. What the market recognizes most about us is our ability to distinguish ourselves by continually seeking out new things, such as the recent degradé carpet stitch embroidery, a seemingly simple process but one that requires complex craftsmanship.”
How much time do such complex processes take?
“Every season we prepare for this kind of processing a year and a half in advance, studying new innovative graphic designs. The company is inspired by ancient craft techniques such as unraveling, macramé and hemstitch, to reinterpret them in a modern way and, later, industrialize them. This approach allows the company to maintain a strong connection with tradition while looking to the future of fashion accessories. We have a vast clientele consisting mainly of Italian and French luxury maisons. To meet the needs of this high-end target, we focus heavily on excellence in workmanship, developing innovative techniques that combine technology and craftsmanship.”
Let’s talk about the skilled workers: how can raising awareness among the younger generation ensure the future of Italian-made products and Italian fashion?
“It is important to raise awareness among young people, especially in sectors like fashion, where there are many career opportunities. We are always looking for young talents, but in our opinion there needs to be a strong political move to make the fashion professions more attractive to new generations. There are young people with great creativity and economic expectations who could find satisfaction working in this industry. Promoting and protecting Made in Italy is essential, and to do this it is important to involve young people, explaining to them that our kind of work can be fulfilling and rewarding. In some areas of Italy, young people have already understood the importance of manual and operational skills in the production of luxury products. In other areas, however, families still do not favour the choice of these trades. It is therefore necessary to raise awareness and inform the new generations about the career opportunities offered by the fashion industry, in order to ensure the future of the Italian production chain, We hope so and are ready to take up the challenge.”
