EPAFLEX launches a new thermoplastic polyurethane for the production of antistatic and ESD treads
Epaflex Polyurethanes® , historic polyurethane manufacturer headquartered in Cassolnovo, redesigns its image with a new Footwear Division completely dedicated to the world of footwear.
The company is part of a completely Italian industrial group led by Elachem® , European leader in the production of saturated polyesters and polyurethane systems for more than 20 years, one of the main players in the global footwear market.
To strengthen its presence in this historically strategic sector, the Lomellina based company has significantly invested in human resources and cutting-edge technologies.
“We started from the idea of assisting and supporting sales management with a technical department that knows how to translate market needs into high-performance products” says Daniela Baldi, new Global Commercial Lead Footwear TPU. “To be able to approach this segment in a complete and efficient way, a professional like Telemaco Licchielli was needed, who joined our team precisely because of his twenty-year experience in the footwear manufacturing sector.”
Epaflex launches into the world of safety footwear, which requires unceasing developments to increase comfort and technical features, a brand-new product: Epamould 164 A 86 V4 OP, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for the production of antistatic and ESD treads. With this solution, combined with the lightness and resistance of the range of Epaxtreme systems for midsoles, Epaflex will be able to supply as a “one solution provider” an array of products boasting high mechanical performance, excellent grip and permanent antistatic and ESD properties.
