At the Simac Tanning Tech in Milan, the DMS company, based in the province of Vicenza, presented the "top" machine of its range, significantly improved
DMS, headquartered in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza province) will be among the leading companies at Tanning Tech, one of the main worldwide events in the sector, scheduled in Milan next September 19 – 21. The Veneto-based company, renowned on the Italian and foreign markets with two brands – DMS Italia and DMS International, – will once again attend the exhibition and will put on display one of the “top” machines of its range, that is, the RC Paint, in the 1800 version (customers can also rely on the 3400 model, the larger one). This innovative roller coater machine is meant for leather finishing and is the perfect fusion between technology, simplicity and ecological sensitivity. RC Paint, which is being praised in the Italian and foreign markets, is suitable for most types of leather, with different softness, and is ideal for the application of fillers, impregnation, coverings, hot and cold fatliquors, application of foamed products on splits, buffed and full grain leathers.
“The model that we will be displaying at the fair – explains Dario Rubbo, co- owner together with Diego Cailotto, historic founders in 1997 – is very innovative in terms of technical features, in particular as regards the PLC systems. Over the last twelve months, in particular throughout the first semester 2023, we carried out important updates. Among the main aspects, we simplified the exit of the hides, making the system more flexible and at the same time also guaranteeing less maintenance and further savings in consumption, both of electricity and of the water used for washing operations.”
“The latest tests and simulations – say the owner of DMS – which we carried out at the beginning of the summer inside a tannery, have fully satisfied us as well as the owner of that tannery itself: he decided to buy some machines in series. All this confirms that the innovative RC Paint is a highly performing model that has managed to catch the request of a growing market, looking for an innovative and modern machine, managed by a team like ours, made up of motivated professionals with a long experience in the sector. The more we tried to develop a complete and innovative tool, the more RC Paint became a simple, intuitive and fast machine, which we are sure will keep on obtain great success.”
Expectations are good about the Milan Fair in September. “We expect a significant number of both Italian and foreign operators, – concludes Dario Rubbo – we will be there to provide all the necessary information, but above all to explain the news. We are moderately confident about the rest of 2023, despite knowing that this period, for the leather sector and the whole world economy, is not the happiest; consumption in general is not yet taking off, while as regards a as tanning machines, there is a bit of fear in doing investments. However, we are convinced that we are on the right track, particularly in the ability to always offer something technologically very advanced, and never seen on market before. As a matter of fact, the projects developed by our technical office are not limited to standard machines: the 6 patents we already obtained confirm that we have launched innovative solutions, in particular we have patented single mechanisms that can be applied to different machines. More will come in the future, but at the moment we don’t want to unveil anything.”
