Product development: the compelling challenge of Epaflex Polyurethanes®

New product development, for a company, has always represented a challenge of fundamental importance. A challenge that, when accepted and carried out in the right way, can make a very significant difference to the destinies of the company itself.
First of all, it is necessary to account for an activity that requires even long periods (sometimes months, if not years). In addition, resources are expended, both economic and human, which represent a very important investment for the entrepreneur.
It remains essential to be clear about the goals and results you want to achieve. The basis from which to start is certainly an accurate analysis of all aspects that must be clearly and precisely defined, even if they can be revised in progress. From there, the business must follow guidelines so that it does not fall into the mistake of losing sight of the fundamental goals, finding itself in a maze of possibilities from which it is no longer clear how to get out. When the right path can be taken, the result can be very rewarding and profitable.
This is what is happening at Epaflex Polyurethanes®, a dynamic company in Lomellina, Italy, which has embarked on a path to perfect its products but, above all, to expand its range with new special TPUs designed specifically for the footwear sector.
This is no small commitment for the Cassolnovo (PV) company, which has all the credentials to quickly achieve the ambitious growth targets defined in its strategic industrial plan.
Product development is in fact associated with a series of investments (expansion of 23,000 square meters of the industrial area, purchase of new silos for material storage, new equipment for laboratory and R&D office, etc.) as well as the creation of an custom built commercial and technical division for its target market, the footwear sector.
Epaflex Polyurethanes® is one among the Italian companies that, regardless of sector, have decided to renew and invest, despite a difficult market situation aggravated by complicated global economic and political events. In this context, overcoming the challenge may not be easy, but having had the courage to accept it shows a consistent entrepreneurial temperament and willingness to constantly improve.
