Founded in 1983 by Gaspar Navarro Mora and today led by his son Javier Navarro Dura, the Plaginsa Group has established itself worldwide as a leading producer of rubber sheets. With a turnover of over 50 million euros and a workforce of over 200 employees, the group has a consolidated presence in Europe, Asia, America, Africa, and Oceania.

Innovation, flexibility, and expertise are the cornerstones of the Spanish company’s management model, which translates into a constant search for cutting-edge solutions to meet the needs of an ever-evolving market. The company offers a wide range of rubber sheets for the most diverse sectors, but Plaginsa also confirms itself to be a partner of excellence for the world’s leading footwear brands, providing them with innovative and high- performance materials.

Manuel Martinez, Export Manager, told us at the fair: “In 2024, our primary goal remains constant growth, in line with the positive trend of recent years. Aware of the challenges of the current context, we are committed to maintaining the achievements made, consolidating our position in the market. To this end, we will continue to invest strategically in the modernization of production machinery, in order to optimize efficiency and business competitiveness”.

Always attentive to the environment, the Group is certified “Vegan Approved” and “Ready for Eco Designed” thanks to its constant commitment to developing sustainable products free of animal-derived compounds and using recycled materials.

Javier Navarro Dura, CEO Plaginsa, said: “In line with the global trend of recycling and sustainability, for which Plaginsa has always been strongly committed, we confirm the continuity of our corporate direction aimed at continuous improvement of in-house products. This strategy allows us to be at the forefront of the sector. We are particularly satisfied with the reception of our range of products made with recycled materials. In response to this positive feedback, we have decided to expand the color range, thus guaranteeing even greater flexibility and customization to our partners. Our all-time bestsellers, Neolite, Moldtech, and E.V.A, continue to consolidate their success on the market, confirming the effectiveness of our internal development strategy”.
