DMS expands its technology and in 2025 will take part in trade fairs of the textiles sector

DMS, headquartered in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza), a municipality of the Arzignano district, stands out among the companies that in the future will develop its machinery in the textile sector. The Veneto-based company is currently renowned in the Italian and foreign markets with the double brand DMS Italia, founded in 1997 by Dario Rubbo and Diego Cailotto, the current co-owners (whose core business still revolves around both the sale of an ample array of second-hand overhauled machines and the development of finishing plants and technologies), and DMS International, brand launched in 2018 and specialized in the manufacturing of finishing machines for the tanning industry: the latter is the group’s commercial soul, as it owns some patents.
Currently, the leather sector amounts to 90% of turnover, but the remaining 10%, regards fabrics, reels, paper and synthetic materials: a percentage destined to grow considerably in the coming years, due to the expansion into other sectors. The main model built specifically for textiles has been under development since last year, while the construction project has been underway since the beginning of 2024. During this year, the machine will be tested and put into operation in the production cycle of a company, and then production will be started. In the creation of the new models meant for the textile sector, DMS International will be able to take advantage of its long experience and high technology acquired over the years, which has led to the development of RC Paint (made in two versions, size 1800 and 3400), the innovative roller coater machine for finishing, which is the perfect combination of high quality, ease of use and environmental awareness. The RC Paint is suitable for most types of leather and the ideal solution to apply fillers, impregnation, coating agents, hot and cold fatliquors, foamed products on crusts and well as on buffed or full-grain hides. The new machines will rely on this technology with though-feed reels supported by a rubberized roller and two support rollers for spreading the product, which can be textile, paper or nylon. A further option, requested by many customers, is a connecting bridge with another roller machine, for the drying phase. The expansion and investment program in textiles has been planned partially: in 2025 the DMS group has announced its participation in at least a couple of important international trade fairs in the textiles sector with the aim of introducing itself to potential international customers, and looking for export in new countries.
