“ATTIVA”, the ground-breaking buffing machine by Bertex

Cutting-edge technology applied to the textile sector for the dry finishing of fabrics, faux leather, microfiber, PU, PVC, rubber, and cork: “Attiva” is a through-feed belt buffing machine, specifically developed to carry out surface buffing, calibration and design buffing. It is also able to work reel materials, in a through-feed process. Surface buffing is a process that creates a writing effect on the entire material, while with design buffing the same operation is carried out only on the areas determined by the design engraved on the roller. Calibration is carried out to adjust the thickness of the product with high precision. The working width of the machine in the picture is 1800 mm, but the company can supply machines up to 3200 mm. With this machine you can process materials with very thin thicknesses or thicker products in a range of a few centimeters. The thickness adjustment, controlled by “brushless” motors, works in hundredths of a millimeter range and allows you to work with certain materials which can have much thinner thicknesses such as microfiber. In short, Attiva is a belt buffing machine that works on the surface of the selected product, both to remove material and to reduce its thickness. The machine comes as standard 4.0 equipment, which allows integration with the customer’s management software and interconnection with the manufacturer’s IT systems, for remote support; in addition, it can also be equipped with the 5.0 system for monitoring consumption. Attiva can be supplied in line, complete with a dedusting machine, suction system and all the accessories needed to work on reels.
