Aboutblu is the reference brand for safety and work footwear produced by Panther Srl, a Veneto-based company headquartered in Bovolenta (Padua) where the uppers, coming from the two factories owned by Panther Albania SH.P.K. in Vlora and Burrel, are injected. Founded in 1982 by Rocco Cilenti, supported by other local entrepreneurs, the company initially dedicated to the production of high-quality injected sports shoes for prestigious brands such as Reebok and Puma; subsequently, in the nineties, production has been converted into work and accident prevention systems and it was an immediate success. Today Panther employs around 280 people in its three owned factories, 85% of its turnover comes from outer Italy, through large distributors. The remaining 15% turnover is obtained in Italy directly at the sales points thanks to a network of specialized agents.
Panther’s mission is to produce increasingly high-performance, reliable and above all comfortable footwear in the accident prevention sector with the Aboutblu® brand and in the military sector with the newborn Panther Tactical brand, which, thanks to the experience and knowledge acquired by the company, stands out for its high-performance features.
