Bauce 1970, ews about the through-feed sammying machine featuring 4 blade cylinders

Bauce, for over 50 years a leading company in the production and marketing of leather pressing and drying machines, launched some important news at the latest Tanning Tech show

The new through-feed sammying machine featuring 4 blade cylinders is the great news that Bauce, headquartered in Trissino, within the Arzignano leather district, launched at the Tanning Tech Show, hosted in Milan last September. The company, founded in 1970 Attilio Bauce, whose business is now carried on by his son and two daughters, for over half a century has been a leader in the tanning sector, in particular in the pressing and drying of leathers. At the fair, Bauce featured its new machine, which aroused great curiosity and interest among Italian and foreign operators, who literally stormed the Bauce stand during the three-day event.
“The through-feed sammying machine featuring 4 blade cylinders – explains Luca Bauce, at the helm of the company together with his sisters Sabrina and Michela – is useful in the phase after dyeing, before the vacuum / frame or drying chain. The main feature is the innovative design of the blade cylinders, which guarantee a better opening of the leather: the movement of the blade cylinders has been redesigned according to this need. This operation enhances the grain of leather, even thicker ones, which, to be improved, need to be treated in order to reduce pores and smoothing the wrinkles. The technology used is groundbreaking and also includes a new system of high pressure washing. For this model we have invested a lot in R&D activities, but we are already reaping the results: this machine will be our flagship for many years.”
At Tanning Tech, the owners of Bauce showcased “the innovation of the RM model, – as explained by owner – another top machine of our range, which has been completely revisited, in particular in terms of mechanics, which has been completely redone, and technology, fully upgraded.”
The energy consumption, leitmotif of the 2022 edition of the show, is the topic on which the company worked in order to offer its customers many advantages. “ The through-feed sammying machine featuring 4 blade cylinders and the RM model presented at the fair – explains Luca Bauce – are electric, guaranteeing energy savings of around 30%, datas we can really prove. In other words, perfectly in line with the market demands in terms of cost reductions, we preferred to give up the hydraulic option and switch to electric. In light of the current situation and forecasts also in view of 2023, we believe it is the right choice.”
The final balance about the exhibition for the Bauce brothers was very positive. “The fair went quite well – he concludes – we met several Italian and foreign operators, compared to last year we registered a greater flow, but above all a renewed attention of those who came to our stand, interested about the innovations we displayed. The economic situation is not easy at all, but we keep on investing and believe in the range, which we nevertheless unceasingly improve precisely to make it as appealing as possible.”
