The Footwear division of the global company Coats, aimed at the luxury, fashion, material performance, workplace safety industries and much more, has invested significant resources to launch the Lifestyle project in Italy and EMEA, a mix of elements aimed at creating an innovative concept, based on pillars such as sustainability (producing goods and not waste), research, bio-based materials, local production and the union of a series of elements that will support the Italian and EMEA industry. Claudio Assenza, new Director of the Lifestyle Italy division, tells us about the role that Coats, the only company of its kind, can offer its customers: “Coats is a single interlocutor, partner of the style offices and connoisseur of the product, capable of interact directly with the technical managers, patter-making workshops, with the product compliance offices, from footwear to leather goods and in some cases also to packaging, to create a single harmonious “thread” between various departments. Coats Footwear’s attention to the environment is now well known, and results in real examples of circular economy and zero-waste production, such as the possibility of recovering the production by-products of the TEXON Forest line insoles, of producing customized toe caps and counters with the Rhenoflex Rhenoprint technique, or to produce high-performance and ecological fabrics through the Proweave technique.
