PERSICO, leader in the production of through-feed fleshing machines, has definitively launched its flagship product, a worldwide excellence
It is considered the flagship, whose quality and efficiency have let it be one of the leading machines in the sector worldwide. At the last Tanning Tech show held in September, Costruzioni Meccaniche Persico, specialized in the production of through-feed fleshing machines, decided to put in the limelight the model “S23”, considered the flagship of the industry. Quality, speed and reliability are the characteristics of the entire range, designed and built inhouse by the company, based in San Giovanni Lupatoto (Verona province). Technological research, tradition, along with its presence in the tanneries sector for over 50 years, represent a guarantee of quality and reliability. On the occasion of the Milan fair, we met Alberto Nieri and Nicola Albertini, CEO and administration dept. manager respectively, who explained the main features of the “S23” fleshing machine and the related company choices.
“For our flagship – their words – this is a second debut at the Milan fair: we brought it for the first time in 2021, when it was still in the pre-sale phase. After one year, we sold about 12 pieces, so we can say that we produce one a month. The machines are operational and work in important Italian and foreign tanneries; the entrepreneurs and companies that bought them are all very satisfied. The road that led to the design and creation of this machine lasted more than 5 years and its development went through a series of tests and patents, which have led to the birth of a robust machine, simple to use and that perfectly meets customer needs. One of our priorities is the search for perfection, and for this reason, all the geometries and the smallest details of the new “S23” have been studied carefully in order to achieve excellent performance. The machine allows you to flesh out fresh and tripe, obtaining exactly the desired results.”
“An important feature of the fleshing machine – add Alberto and Alfredo Nieri – is represented by the ACS (Air Control System), the touch screen interface that allows you to control and adjust all settings with a simple touch. Costruzioni Meccaniche Persico has always sought quality, practicality and simplicity in its machinery, and for this reason it has developed a simple and intuitive control system, which allows you to set and adjust the machine to your liking. The ACS system was designed to be easy and intuitive, just a few touches are enough to have the leather as desired, hence the slogan ‘Fleshing has never been so easy’. It is the latest technology we conceived, but it features all the characteristics to keep the company’s reputation on a global level, and confirm it as one of the reference points in the fleshing sector.”
The balance of the 2022 edition at Tanning Tech for the company is very positive. “At our stand – conclude the two managers of Persico – we recorded a high turnout, but above all there was a real interest in the short term, which in some aspects we did not expect. From this fair, we had the confirmation that in the second half of 2022 the tanning sector is lively: as far as we are concerned, there have been many customers interested in closing a deal quickly, something that occurs quite rarely during international fairs, among hundreds of exhibitors. Another reason for satisfaction is the visit from foreign operators, including those from China and other Eastern countries.”
