Among the news proposed by the Veneto- based company for the SS24 collection, ‘Dry’ stands out: that’s a new type of varnish characterized by a very soft hand, pleasant to the touch, thermosensitive (i.e. hot stampable) and boasting a light tone print. The added value is of this product is certainly the high grip performance it’s able to guarantee.
In line with market trends, increasingly focused on the reduction of the environmental impact and therefore to sustainable materials, Davos bases this line on Ecothunit: the Thunit, which represents the company’s core business and is a trademark owned by Davos, consists in an unique material, a valid alternative to leather, with sometimes even higher performance. The Ecothunit is its evolution of this material in a sustainable key: as a matter of fact, it contains a recycling percentage of 50%, not only to comply with the TÜV certification of conformity obtained in 2021, but above all to satisfy the requests coming from both the big brands and the lesser-known companies, which have decided to embrace recyclability and eco-sustainability in their collections.
