Lady D Legend is the name of the new sustainable work footwear capsule designed for women by Dike, a Veneto-based company that has been operating in the workwear market since 2011, boasting a global range of shoes and clothing created to improve the well-being of those who work through safe, innovative products, comfortable, ergonomic, ecological and pleasantly beautiful.
Upper made in recycled/recyclable GRS fabric and suede calfskin; Solidbreath® RR GRS lining; green compact PU sole; midsole in recyclable PU foam; 100% recyclable carbon fiber toe cap; anti-perforation insole in breathable agglomerated felt with recycled PET fibre; removable anatomical insole in recycled EVA GRS. This is the identity card of a shoe developed according to the culture of recycling and created through eco-friendly production process, technologies and materials. The use of recycled PU, for example, reduces the dependence on petroleum as a source of raw material and the emissions of greenhouse gases derived from manufacture. The production partners selected by Dike share the codes of conduct, the passion and the unceasing search for excellence: the leather supplier is one of the 500 tanneries in the world which achieved the prestigious LWG-Leather Working Group certification, certifying the effort towards an ecological and economically sustainable production, and a systemic management of quality, environment, safety and ethics.
In addition to a “reload footprint”, Dike Lady D Legend relies on an integrated Air Soft® technology, a revolutionary natural ventilation system developed by the company’s research laboratories aiming at keeping feet fresh and dry, even after many hours of Work. The micro-perforated insole connects the ventilation chamber in open cell foam material with the inside of the shoe. The air vents allow stale air to be conveyed outside as water vapour, through the pumping effect triggered by walking. The special membrane prevents the entry of water from the outside, favoring the exit of humidity from the shoe.
Lady D Legend footwear for professional use is certified according to the EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC standard.
