FTG SAFETY SHOES was officially founded in 1959; today, after more than 60 years, it is an established company that produces and markets its products directly and exports them worldwide.

It complies with the EN ISO 20345 product certification on all models and with the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 process certification: all this lets FTG to be a market leader. The company also carries out design, production and market all by itself and, through an efficient distribution network, it serves some of the largest industrial groups in the world. Thanks to its know-how since 2005, FTG has been producing and marketing the Ducati Corse line of safety footwear, in partnership with Ducati Motor Holding. This line outstands for its aggressive and technical look. This year the new Gemini line will be presented at the fair A+A, including the Charon and Uranus models. Both boast a very light and flexible single-density sole with TPU inserts in the toe and heel that increase abrasion resistance. The soles feature shock absorbing areas in the heel and a ‘Stop System’ area that allows greater grip for those who go up and down stairs and/or scaffolding. The Uranus model is S3 SRC and ESD certified, the Charon model is S1P SRC certified. Both are completely metal free and made of high-resistant and breathable safety nubuck leather. The shoes are coated with a special ‘honeycomb’ material, to allow better air circulation, increasing breathability and reducing the temperature inside the shoe. To ensure the utmost comfort for everyone, they are made with a wide fit 12. Charon and Uranus shoes have specific wearability features depending on the end users, from size 34 to size 39 the fit is female specific, while from size 40 to 50 the fit is male. Finally, both models are suitable for “eco-lovers” end users as they are made with ecological raw materials; boxes and information booklets are made of 70% recycled elements while the materials are vegan friendly as they do not include natural leathers, but only synthetic microfibers.
