The preparations for the 50th edition of FUTURMODA begin

The marketing begins for the 50th edition of FUTURMODA, the trade fair of the components for footwear and fine leather goods, which will be held on the 18th and 19th of October at the Fira Alacant Exhibition Centre in Elche, Alicante, Spain.

FUTURMODA is an international trade fair and it is one of the three most important events of Europe.
More than 300 exhibiting companies from countries such as Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, China and Bangladesh and companies from the following different subsectors take part in this trade fair:

• tanning and leather (40%)
• components for footwear such as soles, lasts, insoles (18%)
• textiles and synthetic materials (15%)
• trim and accessories such as thread, braiding, buckles (16%)
• chemicals and raw materials (5%)
• Graphic design service, as well as moulds and dies (3%)
• Technological companies, media and institutions (3%)

In this next edition the exhibiting companies will display the latest trends and new releases for the AUTUMN-WINTER 2024-2025 SEASON, as well as the ecological components and materials, which will be on display again in the FUTURMODA GREEN PLANET area.

The trade fair organisation has used all its resources to host this very special event, which on this occasion will be held without so much of an advance of the dates, in line with the needs of the exhibitors and so that both the exhibitors and the visitors can attain their objectives and optimize their business strategies.

For the organisers this edition is going to be very important seeing as FUTURMODA is celebrating its 25th anniversary and 50 editions, so it is a good time to look back and see all the ground covered, as well as to thank all the companies that support this trade fair edition after edition for all their hard work and effort.

At the last edition in March 2023, FUTURMODA had almost 7000 visitors and in this next edition this figure is expected to be surpassed, with the participation of national and international visitors from the footwear and components sector. The objective is to be able to make all participants have an enriching and productive experience.

To ensure that the organisation of this next edition is a complete success, the Spanish Association of Footwear Component Companies (AEC), which is the organiser of the event, is going to work extremely hard to organise and market the next edition, for which the deadline to renew contracts and hire stands for exhibitors with seniority is the 16th of June.
