GUARDOLIFICIO TRE BI, welts, an added value

GUARDOLIFICIO TRE BI has been experiencing an increase in exports during the pandemic period, a reward for the investments in research and innovations resulting in a top-quality product designed for high-end brands.

Careful selection of raw materials, precise and efficient manufacturing processes, a keen eye for trends. These are the requirements lying at the core of the welts’ success, that is, a pivotal component not only from an aesthetic point of view, but also when it comes to the making of comfortable, water-proof, and durable shoes.
Thanks to the know-how, the skills and the experiences acquired since its foundation, Guardolificio Tre Bi has managed to become the favourite supplier of shoe and sole factories working with the most prominent international fashion brands. Even in times of pandemic, despite the difficulties faced by the footwear sector, the firm headquartered in Cornuda, Treviso province, has been experiencing a constant penetration into the global markets, thus confirming the top-notch quality of a product entirely manufactured in Italy as well as the prime technological level of the solutions provided.
“In such a peculiar period, we have chosen to focus on innovation,” explained Saverio Peron, at the helm of the company with Sandra, his daughter, “by widening our set of samples and developing a comprehensive range of models and options, conceived to meet specific demands and to keep up with new styles and trends.” Perfectly aware of the pivotal role played by welts in the manufacturing of high-end shoes, Tre Bi aims at fulfilling every requirement, while steadily pursuing excellence and favouring the processing of leather, micro and synthetic fibres. Currently, the market is on the lookout for articles featuring eco-friendly materials and sustainable manufacturing procedures. Hence the need to invest in research projects for low-impact components – from glues to dyestuffs -, in full compliance with the specifications set by the leading brands.
In 2020, the rise in international sales counterbalanced the turnover drop related to the decrease in domestic demand. “We have worked with several enterprises that produce shoes for the American market,” stated Peron, “and we have succeeded in increasing exports especially to the Far East, South Africa and Algeria. Now we wait for the United Kingdom’s reopening and recovery: as a matter of fact, the local men’s elegant footwear market has always helped us deal with the global success of sneakers and its penalizing effects.”
