This operation strengthens the presence on the market of the Veneto- based mechanical company, in particular as regards the wet department of the tanneries
Despite a difficult international context, at the beginning of the year Escomar Italia formalized the complete acquisition of New 3P srl, based in Arzignano, of which it already purchased half of the company shares.
“Several years ago, Escomar Italia had already acquired the shares of 3P, renaming it New3P. Although the market today is dominated by uncertainty, for Escomar the time has come to complete the investment by acquiring the remaining 50%” as explained by the company itself.
Since last January the administrative, technical and commercial staff of New 3P has been then merged into Escomar Italia which from now on will produce and market, in addition to its own machines, also the “Piraña” through-feed fleshing machine and the New 3P “Boy” automatic toggling. An investment that finds its reasons in the value of a historic brand in the mechanical-tanning sector. Founded in 1963, 3P is famous throughout the world for its production of through-feed fleshing machines (the first of its kind), together with pumps for fleshing disposal and automatic toggling for nailing hides.
Furthermore, with this operation, Escomar strengthens its market presence in particular in the wet department of the tannery, given that its specialty is the wet blue leather presses which, together with the fleshing machines, are precisely the first machines necessary for processing raw leather.
Always caring about the constant improvement of its presses for drying wet- blue leather, in 2023 Escomar Italia presented the electro-hydraulic “PCR-e8” model on the market which aroused great market interest. Compared to previous versions, the innovation lies in the fact that the press has a superior drying force, which ensures high performance, guaranteeing notable production advantages with low energy consumption.
The recently upgraded PCR-e8 model: among the improvements made to this model, designed to work at high speeds and thereby obtain considerable production advantages, in addition to energy savings, there are other noteworthy performances in terms of drying, low acoustic impact, an improved spreading system and modern software with a simple and manageable interface that allows access to the various work functions also remotely.
PIRAÑA through-feed fleshing machine allows to flesh the full hide in one operation, only, saving the hard work to introduce and to take out the hide from the machine, and it’s suitable to through-feed flesh either hides after liming or in green.
