As usual, the news on display at Lineapelle by Labam represent only a little part of the identity of the company, specializing in the creation of custom resin accessories and components for the fashion sector, all made in Italy. The company, based in the province of Parma, is constantly in search for innovative ideas, in line with tradition and excellence. At the fair, Labam displayed a wide offer, able to satisfy every need. “I can’t point out a specific trend, the requests are varied and diversified – says Annalisa Cavalca -. For our part, we have focused on the development and reinterpretation of components, and on the search for new shapes and colors: buckles that recall woven leather, crocodile or bamboo, chains with faceted rings, multifunction ball-shaped items, mono or two-tone components for footwear.” The company only relies on sustainable and recyclable materials such as polymethylmethacrylate, known under the trade name of Plexiglas. The interest of customers towards recycled materials from post-consumer plastic waste and materials composed of bio-based polymers (for example made from corn or wood fibers) is still strong.
