Lampa, personalized luxury

Having crossed the threshold of fifty years since its foundation, Lampa keeps on growing with new acquisitions and innovation at the service of the top fashion brands. “The samples presented at Lineapelle – says Cristian Schillaci, grandson of the founder Dorino Bertoli – are the mirror of who we are and of our know-how, they reflect the creativity in experimenting new materials, new techniques and finishes. In short, they act as an inspirational channel for the luxury brands, for which we now work almost exclusively on a project basis. Customization is the watchword, outside and above the trends.”
The company, headquartered in the province of Bergamo and specialized in the all-Italian design and production of studs, buttons, jewelry and accessories for high fashion, is always in line with the new market demands, today deeply linked to the theme of sustainability. “We are proud to have become a Certified B Corp® in 2020, the first in the high-end accessories sector. We aim for an ever-lighter production in terms of environmental impact: we invest every year in ground-breaking machinery that saves 40% of energy, over 15% of the energy used comes from renewable resources and in 2021 we installed a new closed circuit water system for water reclamation. We obtained GRS certification in 2022 for the use of materials from recycling chains. In addition to our processing waste, we use plastics deriving from the recovery of automotive waste or the nylon of abandoned fishing nets or old carpets. The bioplastic derived from castor oil – a plant that grows in desert areas and does not use arable land – is an entirely renewable raw material that offers the same technical performance as traditional ones, while at the same time helping to significantly reduce CO2 emissions in the atmosphere.”
