Eye-catching products, hides enhanced by a wide range of colours, laminated foils featuring strong metallic glares – for both partial and total transfer –, patterns, lacquers without adhesives, HO Paillettes, and other articles conceived to enhance the natural beauty of leather as well as of fabrics: a multi-faceted corporate catalogue that skillfully combines quality, technology and Italian aesthetic taste, providing plenty of groundbreaking technical solutions. This is the core business of MICROFILM Srl, the company headquartered in Brendola (Vicenza province) and founded in 1997 by Giuliano Sambugaro, the enterprise’s owner boasting a long-standing experience in the field of fabrics coating: he has managed to establish a successful firm specialized in the development of ideas and machines for the production of hot transfer film.In 2006, a special plant dedicated to metallic foils to be used on leather, for both total and partial transfer, was implemented. “Our articles are designed and formulated with the utmost care and are able to meet the diverse and demanding requests put forward by the market and by our customers,” confirmed Giuliano Sambugaro. Ernesto Salvioni, Technical Manager, put in the limelight the distinctive trait of the products manufactured by Microfilm: “Thanks to their ability to keep unaltered their characteristics even in case of rubbing and of light exposure, our films manage to perfectly enhance hides featuring some imperfections and blemishes, thus ensuring first-rate results in full compliance with the needs and standards set by the fashion houses.” At the same time, Rosanna Lovato, Foreign Trade Manager, pointed out the pivotal role played by the company’s global sales network: “Our customers worldwide are thoroughly aware of what they want, independently from their origin country, whether they come from the USA or from Pakistan, from India, Turkey, Russia, or from Spain and Portugal. Undoubtedly exports are on the rise, much to our satisfaction, especially with reference to footwear production in Spain and Portugal; Poland too, is experiencing an upward trend. As for the leather goods sector, besides Spain and Pakistan, we are getting a positive feedback from the USA and from Russia as well.” In 2017, Microfilm Srl registered a marked increase compared to the previous year and expects a further growth in 2018. “We are definitely reaping good results on the foreign markets,” confirmed Giuliano Sambugaro. www.microfilmsrl.it
