A prominent platform for the launch of new technologies and machinery for the footwear, tanning and leatherware sectors, Simac is undoubtedly a not-to-be-missed event for ELITRON: as a matter of fact, the firm based in Monte Urano (Fermo province) attended the latest edition of the trade show – held from September 22nd to 24th, 2021 – and it chose to put on display its comprehensive range of innovative solutions: systems devised to skilfully meet the requirements of an increasingly demanding, ever-changing market, to deal with multiple challenges concerning different materials and production needs.
First of all, a special mention goes to Booster, Elitron’s best-selling cutting system, now available with the new Seeker System vision technology – the most advanced recognition technology, developed for printed materials and leather, able to ensure top-notch cutting precision. Secondly, there is Kudos, the cutting system with conveyor belt, designed to cut perfectly both leather and synthetic materials in roll for the footwear and leatherware sectors: an innovative, highperformance solution featuring a marked increase in productivity rate as well as in cutting speed (its distinctive traits compared to the previous models); on the other hand, the multi-function systems called Plaza T allow to handle complicated projects and large-sized leathers (used mainly in the upholstery and automotive fields), thanks to a working area whose overall size is up to 6200 x 2500 mm; last but not least, Visio, the acquisition and nesting system, now equipped with the latest digital technology launched by Elitron, that is, EDI – Elitron Digital Infrared, an infrared pen that helps the employee find, in a simple and prompt way, quality areas, holes and marks on leather. Furthermore, the cutting systems range is provided with the new High Efficiency Suction (HES), the dynamic vacuum system – recently upgraded in order to ensure a higher energy efficiency.
