Thierry Rabotin- designed footwear is back at Micam with new designs and they’re ready to satisfy every style need in every moment of the day, without ever losing sight of its vocation for comfort – wrapping the foot without forcing it.
Constantly evolving towards perfection, the Classic falls in love with new sources of inspiration – from the Lineart of master Jean Cocteau’s drawings to the stained- glass windows of Gothic cathedrals – interpreting them through details designed to catch the eye. The Couture collection, mostly dedicated to the evening and special events, features tapered and elegant shapes, first-choice materials and iconic stiletto heels.
The FIFTY-12 line conceived by the new generation in the company, Andreas and Thomas Schlecth, is now three years old: Thierry Rabotin sneakers for an audience of admirers focus on the softness of the leathers, on the comfort of the fit, on the classicism revisited in the eye-catching colors and details. Instead, the debut for a new family of products designed for the traveling woman: the TR Travel series adopts the typical slip-lasting manufacturing process with very soft nappa leather linings, removable anatomical insole, Extralight© sole and uppers boasting minimalist features that use very high-quality microfibres able to adapt to the foot without losing shape.
More news at Thierry Rabotin, that finally launches a collection to be worn at home, too: slippers made of velvet or shearling lined in cashmere, that comply with the highest quality and comfort standards of the brand, born from the collaboration between the namesake designer, who died prematurely in 2017, and the owners of Parabiago Collezioni, Giovanna Ceolini and Karl Schlecht. The truly innovative FW 2023-2024 proposal is called Timeless. “The collection born from the history and experience of the made-in-Italy brand – concludes Balbini – revisits our iconic models with a modern vision and choice of materials. We have created a very simple and very clean, but extremely contemporary shoe, where the protagonists are the monobloc soles in micro with different thicknesses, which refresh and give an original look to the entire capsule.” Obviously, also in this case, the watchwords are perfect fit and comfort.
