Mlm Mazzola, upgrading according to sustainability – Spotted at Lineapelle

Product quality respecting the environment. This is the new goal of the Lombard company leader in the production of magnetic closures for leather goods and fashion

“Fortunately, we have not been particularly affected by the cyclical increase in the prices of raw materials, however we share the widespread concern about the inevitable repercussions this will have on the spending power and purchasing habits of consumers,” states Alessandro Mazzola aat the latest Lineapelle edition. “We are living in a complex historical period, marked by an unceasing series of painful and unexpected events: we must try to hold on and move forward. Despite the still uncertain market situation, the fair has given us encouraging signs and we are happy to have been able to participate again, after two years of pandemic, as we believe it is indispensable being here for creating value and building relationships.”
The company, specialized in the production of small metal parts for fashion, has recently focused above all on the creation of a line of rings, carabiners and magnetic closures with flaps expressly designed for high-end accessories. “We are trying to offer an increasingly personalized service that best interprets the customer’s requests to turn them into a final product of high quality, resistant and focused on the detail, completely made in Italy and compliant with European and American safety standards,” continues Alessandro Mazzola. “Environmental commitment is the core of our vision. We work with expensive metals and therefore we care a lot about the waste, every tiny processing waste is recovered and put back into the production cycle after melting: our waste figures are close to 0. Furthermore, if on the one hand the alloys we work with are all certified and free of nickel, cadmium, lead and other toxic materials, on the other we prefer high quality and more sustainable galvanic finishes. Our suppliers specialized in galvanic treatments and dyeing are constantly engaged in the research and development of innovative products completely free of substances considered carcinogenic, but at the same time able to ensure the same technical and aesthetic performance of traditional processes. The greatest difficulty, actually, consists in finding alternatives that guarantee the same results in terms of resistance and color rendering to which the big names are now used to. The transition to the green is no longer just a trend, however it will not be immediate nor cheap.”
